Frequently asked questions
Q: Why is the group not on Facebook?
A: Please follow MWP on Instagram and Facebook. While we first launched our community using a private platform, we are evaluating whether or not members would like to be connected through a private Facebook group. Join us as a Founding Member and you'll be the first to know if and when a private Facebook group is established.
Q: Why is there a membership fee?
A: Hosting a wellness community and social network takes significant time and resources. Currently, there is one founder/owner and one community contributor. Membership fees and shop sales help support operating costs. Event sales help with associated costs, including compensation for community contributors. Compared to other networks for mothers, the MWP Founding Membership is competitively priced with a greater return on investment because we are a small start-up with many opportunities to connect more intentionally with other bold mamas in your area.
Q: How can I be a Community Contributor?
A: MWP opens calls for Community Contributors each summer (usually in May), with the contract running August-July. If you're excited about sharing your knowledge, skills, and talents with other mamas, we'd love to have you! You can view the Interest Form HERE and the Role Description HERE. Please email MWP with any questions, or to schedule a 30-minute introductory call to discuss your interest.
